What is the best small town in North Georgia?
Asked : What is the best small town in northeast Georgia ?
I am a newlywed in San Diego, California, and I want out of here! I am looking for a small town in northeast Georgia, where house prices around 100000-200000 for a town house, where the mountains change color in the fall, where tradition and community are important and where firefighter jobs or care jobs are. Please help! Thank you =) Best answer:

Blue Moose I love
Ellijay, Georgia. We moved here from the Bay Area of San Francisco, so we know what comes from California. The pace of life here is much slower and people are more enjoyable. You start to see people you know in the supermarket. There is no traffic here in the mountains (as the hills – but they call them mountains) and no car radio jet. When I moved here, I did not know what to do there, so I collected all kinds of information and made a website called BlueMooseToDo.com. It has many images and ideas on things to do in the area. Autumn is beautiful when the color of the leaves. Spring is fun because all the flowers begin to bloom at different times. It’s fun to have seasons! There are many jobs here, but it seems that the medical literature is one of the few jobs that we see constantly on the paper. You can definitely get a house for 100-200K is a beautiful house – much more than they could get in California – plus it will have room to expand – without a neighbor to see to the right of your window. Good luck with your move!
